This is a two-day immersion of speaking from the heart with the oldest element known to humankind, Grandfather fire…
Gathering around the fire was first practiced by our Paleolithic ancestors at the dawn of our existence, and ‘fire’ is still a strong-hold of focus, sharing, and of human connection among communities across the world today.
When humans are in circle around this burning, bright and luminous force, there is an ancient stirring that can be felt deep inside. This ancient, palpable and primordial knowing with fire… is intrinsic in all of us.
Sitting around the fire is not only ancient, it’s universal. Taking us beyond conventional language, transmuting limiting boundaries of self, clearing the mind, dissolving time-lines and purifying the soul.
So what is it about fire that we feel drawn to gather around?
Is it the comfort of its warmth and heat?
The way that it can transport us back to our ancient origins - or is it just being in its presence, awaiting to take us into its vision and luminosity?
Fire is alive, it has a consciousness, and is aware that we are undertaking a journey with it.
Fire is an immersive experience where we will embark on a voyage into the unknown guided by the messages from grandfather fire, Tatawari…..
Our two-day intention with the fire:
Gazing with the Fire
Releasing the past (Fire Recapitulation)
Speaking from the heart
Journey with the Fire
Transforming the self
Receiving the messages
The Transcendental Continuum
This workshop is centred around the fire and we will be spending most of our time outdoors. We all hold a fire vigil throughout the two days, the fire is never left unattended, and always has a person speaking with it. The ceremony is held in a beautiful location set against Cornwall’s rugged and ancient landscape, Coskewis.
