This workshop is designed for those who aspire to learn and experience the art of lucid dreaming, a practice where one becomes conscious in the dream state and is aware of their dreaming body.
While most of us dream, many are not consciously aware of it. Dreams serve as a means to process experiences from our daily lives, offering archetypal symbolism, solutions to problem-solving, healing, and even insights into the future. Lucid dreaming represents a distinct form of dreaming, granting control over the dream content. Developing this skill requires heightened awareness cultivated through non-doings of the self — engaging, exercises that shift our awareness from the daily world into dream states, providing access to a different and potent level of dreaming.
To prepare for our dreaming objectives and to walk through the doorway of lucid dream perception, we will engage in specific practices and applications, employing methods and lineages that align our consciousness with that of dreaming. These preparations ready the dream body with enough 'energy-attention' to embark on the undreamt realms.
Our preparation includes:
Non-doings to generate 'energy-attention'
Gazing into the liminal realms (spaces)
Dreaming movements
Hearing the voice of the dreaming advisor
Awareness of the dreaming body
Entering the doorway into the lucid dream
Dreaming at this level empowers us to choose our dream content consciously. This heightened dreaming awareness extends into our daily world, increasing our awareness of our capacity to intend and align our choices with our truer self. Essentially, we gain the ability to choose our experiences, rather than feeling dictated to by life.
Once we grasp how to navigate with lucidity, we can play out these experiences in our physical world, as we have already encountered them in the dreaming world. These two realities are not separate; with sufficient awareness in both realms, we embark on bands of lucid dreaming and explore the infinite capabilities of the dreaming body.
